Hare and Tortoise is a race game where the players must spend carrots to advance to the
finish. Each additional square in a single moves costs more than the one before, which
limits movement. Players must also chew three lettuces on special squares before they are
allowed to finish. Additional carrots can be gained by landing on the right squares and by
moving back to tortoise squares. The number of carrots gained depends on your position in
the race at the time. To cap it all, you're not allowed to finish if you have too many
carrots.
Hare and Tortoise was designed by Drakes Jarvis Walsh & Gluck Limited and published
by Intellect Games, Gibson Games and Rio Grande Games.
