The next phase of the Legacy - The Judge in Circuit - is now available
The Judge in Circuit is Francis Tresham's last completed work, virtually ready to go when he passed away, but not released - until now.
Francis Tresham passed away on October 23rd 2019. At the beginning of February 2023, his daughter, Isabel, contacted me to let me know that they were planning to start the serious work of clearing his house now that his wife, Eileen, had moved closer to her daughter, and the house was going to be sold. However, they weren't sure what they should do with all of the games related stuff that existed, such as game boxes, game boards, tiles, and so on. Did I want it?
It didn't take long for me to say yes, and I thank the family for considering me rather than simply consigning everything to landfill.
In the process of sorting through everything (and there was a lot to sort through), I discovered some boxes of made up 1825 kits, all bagged up, ready to find new homes. There were also many individual components, potentially enough to make more kits, or possibly complete games.
The family's approach to my query about what to do with this was simple. I have been given free reign to sell these items, take something for myself and then make a charitable donation for the rest. I have incurred some expenses, such as storage (there was too much to keep in the house), and so on, so will obviously need to cover those costs first.
Below is a list of what is available at the moment. This is liable to change as stock dwindles or is replenished. All prices are for the item only. Post and packing will be calculated based on your location.
To order items, send an email to keith@thomasson.com with FTL in the subject line, listing what you want. In general, limit your order to one of each item. Multiple different items are fine. I want to reach as many people as possible that are interested in these items. I do not want anyone to hoover these up for future sale at inflated prices.
Make sure to include in your email your full address, including which country you are in. I will then calculate the post and packing and advise you of the total cost. Payment will be via PayPal or bank transfer.

Please note that for the small number of 1825 units that it has been possible to build, some compromises have had to be made, notably in providing some tiles of my own making. The colours and materials used will vary from the original tiles, but as Francis did not stick to the same colours or materials in different tile print runs, this is not actually that unusual. Each unit has everything needed to play the game, with as many original components as possible.
1825 games have always been given a unique game number. As I do not know where the numbers got to, I cannot continue the sequence. However, I have started a new number sequence for these games. Unit 1 games had numbers starting 029, Unit 2 used 030, and Unit 3 used 031. I will append to these "FTLxx", so the first of these assembled 1825 Unit 1 games will be numbered 029FTL01.
