Information on Individual 18xx Games

This information is intended to complement the 18xx Rules Difference List by providing details on what is included in these 18xx games. Also included are selected snippets of information such as starting cash, certificate limits, tiles and trains.

Some standardisation of terminology has been done, mainly to make it easier to compare different titles. This is not intended to suggest that the terminology used in the games themselves was wrong in any way, although some people do seem to have a tendency to create new names for things that have been fine the way they were for years.

Given the cottage industry nature of some 18xx titles, the contents of some games vary from one copy to another, either due to errors in manual compilation, or to changes or improvements introduced over time. With this in mind, any differences between what I have listed and what you have in your box may be for these reasons. By all means let me know if you find a discrepancy, and I will double-check my copies.

For the Stock Markets, colours used do not always match those on the originals, but the colours are generally consistent across the Stock Markets shown here.

While creating the Tile Upgrade Charts, I took the time to add identifying letters to my tile images. These are not always the ones on the actual game tiles, generally because those were too long. Some tiles that had no identifiers have been given some for clarity. Well, I found it useful, anyway.
