Great River Shipping Company - GRSC Cost $20 Revenue $5
The GRSC has no special features.
Credit Mobilier - CM Cost $40 Revenue $10
If the Union Pacific public company purchases this private company, it may pay up to triple the value to the owner of the Credit Mobilier. If the Credit Mobilier is owned by any public company, the president always get the $10 income. The public company owning the Credit Mobilier may do one extra yellow track lay west of the Mississippi River. This company survives until phase six as a non-paying company if the extra track lay has not been done.
Mississippi River Bridge Company - MRBC Cost $40 Revenue $10 Base L13 (St.Louis)
This private company gives the purchasing company a free bridge over the Mississippi River at St.Louis (i.e. a free track lay in the St.Louis hex). For the Missouri Pacific this track lay is in addition to and may be performed before its normal track lay/upgrade.

This private company may be sold during phase two for from half to full face value. If a company uses this private company to lay in the St.Louis hex, it may not upgrade that hex in the same operating turn.

Grant Brothers Construction Company - GBCC Cost $50 Revenue $10
The public company that owns this private company may purchase a yellow track tile each turn for $30. The company must also pay any terrain costs. This track lay is in addition to any track lay or upgrade it is allowed to do. This company survives until phase six as a non-paying company.
Mesabi Mining Company - MMC Cost $80 Revenue $15 Base A10 (Mesabi Range)
Comes with a Mesabi Range token.

The Mesabi Mining private company gives the owning company access to the Mesabi Range without further cost. When other companies connect to the Mesabi Range, the company owning the Mesabi Mining private company receives $40 (half of the $80 connection fee). The owning company stops receiving this payment when the private company is closed.

This private company may be sold during phase two for from half to full face value.

The private company closes on the sale of the first '5' train, but the owning company always has the right to the Mesabi Range.

No company may connect to the Mesabi Range until the Mesabi Mining private company has been purchased by a public company or closed by the sale of the first '5' train. There are only four Mesabi Range tokens, so only four companies can run to or through the Mesabi Range. No company may own more than one Mesabi Range token.

Western Land Grant Company - WLGC Cost $90 Revenue $20
The public company owning the Western Land Grant Company is allowed extra construction of yellow track. During the track laying phase the owning company is allowed to lay a second tile, which must be yellow. The owning company may do this three times. The owning company gets one extra yellow tile lay anywhere on the map and two extra yellow tile lays west of the Mississippi river. If all three track lays have not been used, this company survives until phase six a a non-paying company.
Mississippi & Missouri Railroad - MMR Cost $160 Revenue $20 Base I12 (Rock Island)
Comes with a 10% share of the Chicago, Rock Island & Pacific Railway.
